Biography
Born in Beirut in 1955, Edgard Mazigi hold a diploma in textile engineering from ESITL Lyon, France (1978) and a three year certificate with an excellence in painting award from the New York Studio School of Drawing, Painting & Sculpture, New York-USA (1998). In 1999 he moves back permanently to Lebanon where he paints full time. He has taken part in several group and solo exhibitions and has been selected for the Salon d’Automne 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 at the Sursock Museum in Beirut. In 2009, he started teaching drawing at the Lebanese American University (LAU) in Beirut.
